My services
Anger Management
It sometimes feels as if your anger meter goes from “0 to 100.”
Learning to slow down your anger is possible! Consistent therapy can help you learn techniques to slow down, and develop other ways to cope with your feelings. I know it’s not easy, but it is possible to learn anger management techniques over time. I have training and work experience with individuals across the lifespan, from children, adolescents, transitional aged-youth, adults, and older adults. I enjoy working with individuals who have diverse life experiences, and am here to help you develop insight and self-growth!
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that can help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions. CBT helps us evaluate our triggers and the subsequent thoughts and feelings we may be experiencing in these moments.
History of Trauma?
Please contact the office for a consultation and overview of trauma focused therapies that Dr. Amie Lemos-Miller can provide. Some examples include Trauma Focused CBT (children & adolescents) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Stress Management
Stress is real, and very likely an everyday feeling you experience. We may not be able to remove all the stressors in your life, however we can work on managing your approach to stress. Unmanaged stress can negatively impact our relationships along with our physical and emotional health. Many clients tell me that learning stress management techniques has helped with their physical and emotional wellness.
